Tunde is a sought-after speaker and Visiting Lecturer with a unique and inspiring communication style that guarantees audience engagement and action. He teaches various sustainability-related courses at the top three universities in the Southwest: University of Cardiff, Wales; the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol; and the University of Bath where he also sits on the department of Architecture and Civil Engineering’s Industry Liaison Panel (ILP).
As a trusted advisor and Director of ESG & Sustainable Business, Tunde leads and supports clients (C-Suites) in the delivery of sustainability policies, aspirations and strategies at both organisational and project levels. He works collaboratively with clients and partners as an embedded partner to help realise long term value and create socially and environmentally responsible portfolios as well as deliver net zero carbon (NZC), decarbonisation roadmaps, strategies, and energy transition programmes.
Tunde is considered a thought leader on environmental sustainability benchmarking and assessment, ESG engagement, corporate responsibility policy and strategy, social value, circular economy as well as health and wellbeing. He is a member of the Impact Evaluation Standard (IES) Steering Group and Committee which plays a crucial role in championing the most robust and realistic monetisation framework for assessing social value and was also a member of other industry panels led by the Building Research Establishment (BRE), and UK Green Building Council (UKGBC).
Tunde serves as Director and Member, Board of Trustees for the St Werburgh’s Community Centre, a position he has held since 2017 to date. Tunde is a volunteer Police Officer in the Bristol area (working on alternate weekends); this role is driven by his strong desire to see a cohesive and inclusive community where all individuals can thrive safely and freely. He is also one of six Co-opted School Governors of a local primary school in Bristol serving across both the Curriculum Sub-committee and Resources Sub-committee (finance and staffing, pay, appraisals, and health and safety).
